Adobe Connect Engaging Training in a Synchronous Environment

E-Learning Magazine, in an article by Kim Bahr and Rebecca Bodrero, highlights a case study of Adobe Connect offering engaging training in a synchronus environment.  The case study highlights using economies of scale to reduce costs of travel and offering a broader range of talent and expertise across a broader audience.  In this article, they summarize the techniques used to convert a four-day face to face course to a synchronous distance format, highlighting design considerations, successes, and best practices.  Please check out the article in it entirety.

Virtual Training: Are You Engaging or Boring?

E-Learning Magazine has published an article, by Jacqueline Beck of Brookwood, highlighting Cloud-based virtual training allowing instructors to deliver content without being present in a classroom with the students. In order to compensate for the environment of not seeing the participants, she suggests engaging learners through the pace of your presentation, skillful use of your voice, and thoughtful employment of the features of your conferencing platform.   Please check out the entire article.

PC Magazine Names Adobe Connect “Editor’s Choice”

PC Magazine has named Adobe Connect as the “Editor’s Choice” with 4.5 out of 5 stars on June 29, 2011.  They rated Adobe Connect as “the most capable, customizable web conferencing option available.”   They were especially impressesd with its ease of use for any size business while offering customizable pods and many ways to engage your audience.  While its price is slightly higher than WebEx and GoToMeeting, Connect’s scalability makes up for this many times over.

The only “con” expressed by PC Magazine was in the area of set-up and support.  GetConnect’s team are experts in this area, where we are set up to add value as an Authorized Adobe “Gold Solutions” partner.   Our understanding of Adobe Connect is unique, our product knowledge, technical depth, best practices know-how and understanding of  Adobe operations makes dealing with GetConnect a great experience for all of our clients in all business sectors.
